Buenos Aires city is a world capital and has earned its name as the “Paris of the South Hemisphere or Latin America” due to its rich cafe culture and distinctly European architecture. Despite its reputation as a very European influenced country, it is still very much Latin in nature and has its own distinct personality enhanced by proud traditions, including football, tango and mate. It is a city filled with varied, rich, and, diverse culture composed of an ethnic mix of foreigners from Europe, including people from Italy, Spain, Germany, England, Spain, Basque, and the Irish. You won’t just find European influence here though, the whole of Buenos Aires is filled with small communities from neighboring Latin American countries, and even includes small communities from Asia and Africa that add to the diverse melting pot that is Ciudad de Buenos Aires.
