I recently completed the Buenos Aires TEFL course with job placement.I was drawn to the Buenos Aires program because of the unique experience of living in a South American city and the abundant job opportunities advertised post-course. Due to the global pandemic, my original start date in October was postponed. This was a frustrating setback as I had to wait for the Argentinian government to open the borders. At one point I considered switching to the Costa Rica course if borders did not open. However, during those days of border negotiations, I received detailed communication from the Buenos Aires TEFL staff keeping me up to date on all changes. They answered all my emails promptly, were friendly and made themselves available for Skype meetings to answer all my questions. From the start, TEFL has been a life changing, extremely positive experience. I met wonderful people from different nationalities and backgrounds during my course, whom I now consider close friends. Nearly all of us are staying to live and work in Buenos Aires, and it’s amazing to have such a supportive community. We were a large group of 17 participants, so we were divided into two groups for a more personalized experience, which I greatly appreciated.
